Office Decorating

Calling all UMSL offices and departments! Help spread Homecoming cheer and excitement by decorating the UMSL campus. Participating offices will be tasked with using creativity and imagination to transform your office space into the ultimate UMSL red and gold paradise. The winning office will have bragging rights all across campus, and win a special prize.

Part of the Homecoming spirit is helping our UMSL family and surrounding St. Louis community. Help out this worthwhile cause by gathering your student organization and collecting can goods and non-perishables to create a structure that reflects the Homecoming theme - Rise of the Red & Gold. All donated items will benefit the Triton Food Pantry and Pagedale Family Support Center. The top CANstruction designs will earn Triton Spirit Competition points based on creativity, number of donated items, and incorporation of the theme.

Chili Feed & Be Inspired Campaign

Kick off our Homecoming festivities with a bowl of homemade chili with recipes created by our very own UMSL faculty. For only $5.00 for faculty & staff, and $4.00 for students, you will have the opportunity to sample 5 chili recipes served by UMSL faculty and administrators. Taste carefully! You must vote for your favorite chili entry to select the winner of the Golden Ladle Award.

Or buy tickets in person with cash, credit, or declining balance/dining dollars at Nosh, Triton Treats, Einstein Bros Bagels, Simply to Go Cafe (SLB), and Provincial House Dining Hall (starting in December 2018).

 

All proceeds benefit the Pagedale Family Support Center.

 

Be sure to stop by the Be Inspired Faculty & Staff Giving Campaign table to make a donation and grab some dessert. The overwhelming sentiment of the campaign is to help our UMSL students succeed. We’d love to have you make a donation in honor of our 2019 Homecoming celebrations.

Pack the Stands

Cheer on the UMSL Tritons as they take on the Drury Panthers. UMSL students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends are encouraged to attend the annual Pack the Stands Basketball game. Student groups also have the chance to participate in the Spirit Sign Contest during halftime as part of the Triton Spirit Competition.

Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to spend an elegant night at the Marriott Grand Hotel in downtown St. Louis. A three course meal will be included with the price of your ticket. Be sure to join us for a night of dinner, dancing, and fun, along with crowning of the 2019 Homecoming Royalty.

Shuttle service will be available for the Homecoming Dinner & Dance. Three shuttles will run a continuous loop between the UMSL campus and the Marriott Grand Hotel. Stops are listed below.

Shuttle service will begins at 6pm at Mansion Hill. Final shuttle pick up at the Marriott Grand is at 12am. Shuttle service is free of charge. You can track the shuttle on the UMSL App.
